Expectations

1. Discipline - to abide by all team rules and expectations.

 

2. Respect - all teammates, coaches, referees, opposing teams.

 

3. Responsibility - understand basketball is a team sport, it's not only about you, it's what's best for the team.

 

4. Do the right thing all of the time; How you engage  with peers,  how you behave  out of town games, toward the other team, referees, other coaches

 

5.  Complete focus and dedication to the game, your teammates, and coaches is an expectation. Continuing what you started and finishing it to the end is an expectation.

6. Be receptive by allowing your coaches to coach you. Keep an positive attitude and improve in your deficient areas

 

Rules

 

1. Be on court ready to practice at exactly 2:45 or earlier. (class)

2. Before warming up begins you should be engaged in work alone skills; free throws, post moves, game shots, 3-point shooting. (if you've been designated a 3-point shooter)

3.Warm up meaningful - will decrease the chances of injury.

4. Bring a water bottle to every practice.

5. Wear practice attire to every practice.

6. Wear all doctor or trainer prescribed equipment. 

7. You are responsible for asking questions and learning any missed instruction you miss if absent from practice.

8. Coaches will be addressed as Coach " ___Last Name______" players will also respond to coaches with yes coach or no coach.

9. Disrespect to coaches or fellow players will not be tolerated. This includes gestures, comments, gossip, bullying, drama, etc...

Consequences

1st offense - Verbal warning, documentation of player infraction. 

2nd offense - Call parent, inform Administration, Documentation of player infraction.

3rd offense - Call parent, set up meeting with Administration, player removed from team until meeting.

4th - Parent and principal notified, documentation of player infraction, Removal from team.
